Home rental giant Airbnb has listed a home in the Scottish Highlands that replicates the mud-laden swamp of the much-loved DreamWorks Animation character, Shrek.
The hut, which sits beneath a tree trunk in an upside-down treehouse, is described by Airbnb as a “stumpy, secluded haven fit for a solitude-seeking ogre.”
The property’s exterior includes overgrown forestry, multiple signs urging visitors to “stay out”, as well as Shrek’s famous outhouse (i.e. toilet), located a short distance away from the swamp.
On the inside, coarse wooden furniture fills the space, from the solid bed to the dining table and chairs, described as “charmingly rustic.”

The Scottish lodging will be available to rent for Halloween weekend this October, where guests – who will be hosted by Donkey – can “relax in the ambiance of ‘earwax candlelight’”.
