Sparkling water has been given a glamourous upgrade with Aarke, a Swedish design company that engineers premium kitchen products, among which, its sparkling water maker, Carbonator 3.

With a stainless-steel enclosure and available in several finishes – including copper, matte black and the special edition Hammertone that has a rugged, industrial feel – the Carbonator 3 promotes a sustainable move away from the use of plastic-bottled sparkling water to making your own, while upgrading any countertop with its sleek appearance.
The Carbonator 3, which is available locally at Eclecticist, is the third iteration of this product, with the latest version featuring a new internal safety valve system and a CNC-machined precision nozzle in stainless-steel.

A one litre water bottle is included in the package. Made from PET – a form of polyester – the bottle is BPA-free, and made from a resin-based material that is sought for its strength, thermo-stability and gas barrier properties.
