In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Italian furniture brand Pedrali – founded in 1963 by Mario Pedrali – embarked on a series of collaborations with Italian and international designers to create a timeless collection based on the brand’s philosophy of being rooted in tradition, with a constant drive to renew and reinvent.
The collection, called ‘Back to Nature’, journeys between indoors and outdoors, and is intended to be versatile for any context, from the home to contract spaces. DesignDispatch takes a closer look.
Anemos table
With its sculptural form and matte earthy colours, the Anemos table, designed by Toso brothers Pio and Tito, experiments with the materiality of concrete. The curved legs, seemingly light, are solid supports for a thin circular table top, making it a striking conversation piece suitable for in- and outdoors.
Guinea armchair

Composed of an aluminium frame and teak armrests, the Guinea chair, designed by CMP Design Studio, is reminiscent of a traditional outdoor seat but with a fresh and contemporary air. The backrest can be customised either with textilene – reminiscent of the traditional director’s chairs – or with aluminium slats covered in fabric.
Frank table
Robin Rizzini turned to his industrial roots for the design of the Frank table, which blends industrial materials with simple lines. The base is made from slightly curved die-cast aluminium legs, while the rectangular top with rounded corners is available in several different finishes, including paint, glossy lacquer and coloured glass.
Nari armchair
In a tribute to his grandfather’s business, Andrea Pedrali designed the Narì chair, informed by the wrought iron garden chairs of the brand’s 1960s collection, called Serenella. The distinctive legs, made from a double rod forged and bent by hand, are created using a double steel tube in a linear shape, while the sides and backrest resemble the fan-shaped geometry inspired by the original design.
