With the wealth of resources at our disposal to help us conjure up our dream spaces, the trick lies in finding the right brands and designers that reflect our tastes and preferences, where we can visualise the place we call home transform from a dream into reality.
Throughout the past year, leading furniture store Form has gradually converted its own interiors into a furniture and design mall, with curated shop-in-shops that replicate home settings with inspiring, liveable spaces.
Aimed at guiding clients through the process of setting up their home, these spaces allow the variety of brands they represent to each take centre stage, from affordable luxury brands such as Kave Home and Natuzzi Editions, to premium brands Molteni & C, Hästens and Bonaldo.
Speaking of premium brands, Form showroom recently inaugurated Molteni & C’s first shop-in-shop on our shores. The Italian brand specialises in the production of high-end home furnishings such as day and living systems, wardrobes, kitchens, upholstery, and contract. Clients can explore a selection of its furniture and home décor collections in an attractive showcase of elegant Italian design.
As experts in beds and mattresses since 1947, an area dedicated to Hästens, the family-owned Swedish bed manufacturer, seems only fitting. Founded in the 1800s, Hästens, which specialises in handcrafted mattresses using natural filling materials and is distinguished by its trademark blue-and-white chequered fabric, is represented in Malta exclusively by Form.
The latest brand to be added to the company’s venerable range is Hudson Valley Lighting Group (HVLG), which joins leading Italian furniture brands the likes of Bonaldo, and the masters of upholstered seating and sofas, Natuzzi, both of which enjoy their own shops within Form showroom.
Front and centre of their affordable luxury portfolio is Kave Home, a Spanish brand that prioritises comfort through the use of natural materials, neutral colours and organic textures, creating pieces with the aim of ensuring that your dream home becomes a place for refuge with quality furniture and design that exude that desirable Mediterranean aesthetic.
Natuzzi Editions, a lifestyle-centred spin-off of the main brand, also enjoys its own zone shared with Natuzzi, where a variety of furniture ranging from sofas and sectionals, armchairs and poufs to pieces for the bedroom and dining room are stylishly on display in line with the brand’s international standards.
Within the showroom’s walls, furniture is one (albeit a significant part) of the equation. A dedicated kitchen store exhibits complete kitchen models varying in style and budget from renowned brands Arredo 3, Euromobil and Dada.
Furthermore, a range of floor coverings, lighting, soft furnishings, artwork, decorative objects and outdoor furniture are also on display, from the likes of lifestyle brands Dutchbone and Zuiver and family-focused names such as Zalf. The range of products ensures all tastes, needs and budgets are well-catered for.
For those seeking expert advice, Form’s own in-house design studio, Draw, is at hand to help fulfil that vision. Composed of architect Joe Galea and interior designer Sara Brincat, their respective areas of expertise create a comprehensive platform of multi-disciplinary design, spanning from interior design and digital fabrication to environmental and restorative architecture, product sourcing and staging.
