The ‘petite but powerful’ Wonder Oven may be the latest appliance to hit the market that ticks a bunch of consumer boxes: a playful design and compact size, multi-functionality and quick pre-heating and cooking powers, and its ability to cook a variety of food, from a tray of potatoes to a batch of cookies.
Designed by Our Place – a brand that creates homeware intended to make cooking and eating a joyful experience – the Wonder Oven has six modes: air-fry, bake, toast, roast, reheat and broil.
It uses steam infusion technology, which creates steam with just one teaspoon of water and locks in moisture, leaving food crispy on the outside but moist on the inside.
The appliance also pre-heats faster than conventional ovens, according to Our Place – in under two and a half minutes, while its multi-level design permits the roasting of a single small chicken, or baking sweets and pastries on two racks.
Each Wonder Oven comes with a wire rack, a bake pan, and air frying basket and a crumb tray – and a whole lot of character to add to the kitchen.
