Nodi Studio is a boutique interior design studio based in Malta. Inspired by the Italian word for ‘knots’, the role of the studio is to tie all the different elements of a space together in a way that feels natural and personal, but thoughtfully unconventional.
Nodi does not chase trends. Instead, the studio focuses on crafting spaces that simply feel right – intuitive, calm, and built to last.
Light, materials, proportion, and the small details that make a home (or any space) feel resolved and uniquely tailored are given careful attention.
Nodi Studio works primarily on residential projects and select commercial projects. For the team, a good design is not just about aesthetics; but about how the users of that space feel as a result of it. A well-designed space should support daily life, lift the mood, and quietly reflect the personality of those who live in it.
The studio is run by Mariana and Michael Grech. Mariana, Interior Designer and Co-founder, is the mastermind behind the creative direction, designing every element to the last detail and shaping the atmosphere, colour, and flow of each compelling interior.
Michael, Technical Director and Co-founder, combines his background in graphic design and cinematography, applying his talent to presenting each project’s vision and ensuring every aspect aligns with its intent. It seemed like the perfect marriage of their respective strengths and convictions to open Nodi Studio.
Together, they define Nodi as more than a studio. It is a practice dedicated to creating spaces that feel intentional, personal, and enduring. Places that quietly tell their own distinctive story.
