Italian fragrance brand Acqua di Parma’s line of car fragrance diffusers is intended as a covetable lifestyle object “that complements the essence of those who seek beauty in every moment”, while imbuing every driving journey with a touch of Italian flair.
And what better way to promote such a product than through an Italian classic – a custom Fiat500 Spiaggina in the brand’s own yellow colour, installed outside the fine dining restaurant Langosteria Bistrot in the luxury alpine resort of St Moritz in Switzerland.
“We are delighted to unveil our exclusive collaboration with Langosteria in St Moritz where a custom Fiat 500 Spiaggina, adorned in Acqua di Parma’s signature yellow sets the stage for you to experience the Maison’s Car Fragrance Diffuser collection,” the brand said.
The convertible Spiaggina, first released in 1958, displays the signature yellow all over, including on the alloy wheels, inside the cabin and the dashboard.
Fixed near the wheel is Acqua di Parma’s fragrance diffuser made from tanned and hand-finished leather – a lifestyle object designed by Danish-Italian architect duo GamFratesi together with furniture company Poltrona Frau in 2021.
The diffuser, described as “intuitive in both function and assembly” by GamFratesi, is attached to the car’s air vent using a magnetic support.
“With its sophisticated presence, the diffuser in the shape of a circle, which recalls to the world of Acqua di Parma and its iconic hat boxes, has been translated into a minimalist design. The cover leather delicately created by hand with tailored details, expresses the noble workmanship of Poltrona Frau.”
