Against the backdrop of its new showroom in Paola, glass and aluminium specialists Servgroup welcomed architects, designers, clients, suppliers and industry partners to its premises – opening its doors for the evening so that its products and architectural systems could be explored, tested out and observed at full scale.
Designed as a practical resource for design professionals, the showroom presents the company’s range of contemporary aperture solutions, materials and finishes, enabling architects and designers to assess proportions, detailing, functionality and performance before specifying a product for their projects.
Kevin Gerada, Commercial Operations Manager at Servgroup notes that the showroom also reflects its strong partnerships with internationally recognised brands.
“These include Schüco, with Servgroup recognised as a Premium Partner, Eklip, with Servgroup recognised as a Quality Partner and MOGS Ottostumm, known for its refined steel systems. Each partnership contributes specialist expertise and a broader range of solutions, supporting different architectural styles and technical requirements.”
Kevin adds that guests were able to discuss product applications and exchange ideas directly with the team and its partners. “This interaction is particularly important in an industry where the successful delivery of a project depends on close collaboration between designers, suppliers, fabricators, contractors and clients.”
Beyond a corporate gathering, the occasion provided an opportunity to recognise the people behind the development of this new space and the relationships that continue to shape the work and success of Servgroup.
The evening culminated with the presentation of awards to 12 long-serving employees in recognition of their outstanding commitment.
“The awards highlighted an important part of the company’s identity: quality is not achieved through products and technology alone, but through the experience, craftsmanship and dedication of the people working behind them. Their contribution has been instrumental in maintaining the standards of quality and service associated with Servgroup,” says Kevin.
The event also created a valuable networking platform, bringing together different stakeholders from across the design and construction sectors in an informal and engaging setting. Conversations extended beyond individual products, touching on emerging design trends, technical challenges and opportunities for future collaboration.
“With the new showroom, Servgroup has created more than a display environment. It is a space for consultation, technical discussion and informed specification, one that brings products, people and ideas together,” Kevin notes. “It is another step in our continued commitment to quality, service and meaningful collaboration with Malta’s architectural and design community.”
