THE STUDIO
FORMADEUS. is a Malta-based interior design studio and concept store rooted in Scandinavian design, with a focus on spaces that feel calm, functional and deeply personal. Based in Sliema, the studio works across residential, commercial, hospitality and workspace interiors, creating environments that balance beauty with everyday practicality.
At the heart of the studio is a belief that good design should be felt as much as seen. FORMADEUS. designs with intention, shaping homes and businesses around the way people actually live, work, meet, gather and unwind. Whether transforming a penthouse, refining a rental apartment, styling a restaurant or planning a full headquarters, the studio approaches each project with the same combination of structure, warmth and attention to detail.

The FORMADEUS. aesthetic is influenced by Scandinavian principles: natural materials, timeless palettes, clean lines, layered textures and a sense of calm. This foundation is adapted to each client’s story, lifestyle and brand identity, allowing every project to have its own character while retaining a cohesive sense of comfort and clarity.
The studio’s process is service-led and practical. From initial consultation and concept development to layouts, 3D visuals, sourcing, styling and project coordination, FORMADEUS. focuses on making the design journey as smooth and enjoyable as the final result. Communication, clear deliverables and thoughtful problem-solving are central to how the team works.
Through FORMADEUS. home, the studio also connects clients with Scandinavian-inspired furniture and décor, bridging design consultation and curated product selection from its Sliema base.

FORMADEUS. has completed projects in Malta and beyond, including private homes, investment properties, offices, co-working spaces and hospitality interiors. Across every scale, the goal remains the same: to create spaces that work beautifully, age gracefully and make people feel at home — whether they are living, working, visiting or simply passing through.
THE TEAM
FORMADEUS. is led by founder and Head of Design Amanda Mansson, whose design direction shapes the studio’s calm, functional and Scandinavian-inspired approach. Amanda’s role combines creative vision with hands-on involvement across concept, planning, styling and client experience. She is supported by a focused team that brings design, operational and project knowledge to every commission.
Mikaella Aneslätt, Interior Designer and Operations Manager, plays a key role in connecting creative ideas with clear execution. Her work helps ensure that projects are not only beautiful, but organised, practical and aligned with the client’s needs, timeline and budget. Alongside her, Interior Designer Martha Spiteri contributes to the development of interiors that are thoughtful, cohesive and grounded in the way each space will be used.
Together, the FORMADEUS. team works closely with homeowners, investors, businesses and hospitality clients, translating briefs into spaces that feel personal, efficient and welcoming.

Their process is collaborative and transparent, built around listening carefully, defining priorities, and guiding clients through the many choices that come with an interior project. As a close-knit studio, the team is able to stay personal, responsive and deeply involved from the first conversation to the final styling detail.
The studio’s strength lies in its balance of creativity and structure. Every project is approached with a combination of aesthetic sensitivity, practical problem-solving and a deep respect for how design impacts daily life. From small refreshes to full-service transformations, the team focuses on flow, function, atmosphere and detail.

With a shared love for Scandinavian design, natural materials and warm minimalism, Amanda and the team have developed a recognisable FORMADEUS. language — one that is calm but not cold, stylish but livable, and curated without feeling overdone. Their aim is to create spaces that feel intuitive, meaningful and complete: places that support people, reflect their story and stand the test of time.
