Entrepreneur and social media personality Tamara Webb announced the imminent launch of a new lifestyle brand, a jewellery line called Se-Luna in partnership with Martina and Carlos Borg, co-founders of local brand Carisma, which combines her love for jewellery with the creation of a keepsake that can be passed down through generations.
In an announcement shared to Instagram, Tamara explained the name is a combination of Seraphina and Luna, both of which resonated with her and her partners “because they represent moments and experiences in life. These are the values we want this brand to embody.”
“From the beginning we brainstormed how to create a product that people would cherish; something that would become a treasured memory they could hold onto forever.”
A range of rings, earrings and necklaces that can be personalised with an engraved fingerprint or person’s handwriting will be available through a variety of collections – including fashion, demi-fine and fine jewellery – that use a range of precious materials.
“Jewellery has always held significant meaning for me. From a young age my mother would tell me to wear pieces my grandmother had given me… and that sense of continuity inspired me to create a brand with materials that last a lifetime. These are pieces you can pass down to your daughter when she’s older,” says Tamara.
The brand, which will launch this October, reflects Tamara’s love for Jewellery, which she describes as “a powerful expression of personal style – but many people don’t wear it enough.”
“That is something I believe in, wearing what has value to you because we only live once. For example, I have a ring that my mother gave me before I got married. When I’m having a bad day, I look at my two rings, one from my daughter and one from my mother, I hold onto them and remind myself that’s what truly matters.”
