With a reputation in the fashion world for pushing boundaries with avant-garde retail concepts and fashion shows, Jacquemus has all but reinforced that fame with a pop-up store in Seoul, South Korea, called Café Fleurs.
The café, located in the city’s Seongsu-dong district, boasts a façade designed after the brand’s puff flap handbag, Le Bambimou. The accurate representation includes stitching on the flap and gentle creases in the outer fabric that give it a padded, fabric-like appearance.
The boutique comprises 2,000 square feet of all-white interiors that host a café (with eight speciality drinks on the menu) and a flower shop selling white Lisianthus bouquets. Also featured inside is a selection of accessories from the brand’s Fall 2023 collection, Le Chouchou, which originally debuted in Versailles last June.
