Hazy days spent pool-side, cool drink in one hand and a book in the other, are just what summer days are made of. Which calls for the kind of lounging furniture that transports you to a different time and place… even if just for a little while.
Spanish furniture brand Vondom, whose name is synonymous with design pieces that transform spaces, knows just how to do that. The brand’s Ulm seating collection, designed by architect Ramón Esteve, boasts a timeless and universal appeal, which aims to strike a balance between design, technology, and ergonomics, based on cube, prism, and spherical shapes.

Featured in this collection is the Ulm daybed, which has a reclining backrest and a folding canopy, available in a variety of finishes. Aiming to provide the ultimate relaxation experience, this two-seater can be completed with a swivelling side-table for extra comfort.
The Ulm collection also features a sofa, coffee table and lounge chair, with striking silhouettes and soft curves. Made of polyethylene resin, the set is 100% recyclable, suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and available in various finishes.

Also forming part of Vondom’s extensive portfolio is the Africa collection, by Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet. It embraces simplicity through clean forms, as seen in the lounge chair, which seeks to mould around the shape of the human body. The lounge set includes two chairs and a coffee table, available in black, white and cream.
